How can October almost be over? The time change is upon us next Sunday. This picture is describes how we have all been feeling lately. I am not sure if it is the weather or what but it seems like we are getting ready for winter hibernation. We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday with E's preschool. It was fun but quick. Located at a private farm some past alumni families invite the preschoolers to plant seeds and then harvest them later. Ephraim harvested last years seeds and will actually get to plant them in the spring.
Ryan is hard at work on the concrete countertops. He finished building the forms at about 11:30 last night and wants to pour them tonight. It will be exciting to see how they are going to turn out. I am still debating tile choices for our backsplash. Right now it is between tiny glass orange toned squares or large rectangle slate ones???? I need to choose so we can get them ordered. I think Ryan is thinking less color is better...hopefully we will figure it out soon. Meanwhile we are still waiting on our cabinet guy to give us a final estimate, time and price... oh, dear. A finished kitchen for thanksgiving would be great. But we will see...
Well it is laundry time for me. Thanks for checking in on us.

I can hardly believe October is just about gone as well. It seems like just a little while ago I was still buying the boys sandals for sunny days.
Which farm did you go to, it sounds like it might be the one we visited. At least, they have a spring planting as well. I'd never heard of it before.
Yay, for the kitchen, it sounds like you are getting close. Blessings for choosing tile and getting the last few "majors" done!
Take care, we miss you. Melody
