We are loving it. Still needs trim, backsplash and oh ya, a door on the bathroom versus random blanket hanging there. Good news: the bathroom door will not be transparent. It is so good to be able to use the kitchen again and I have to say new is pretty nice. A dishwasher and garbage disposal are pretty nice to have. We are still composting though, with a much better set up for the bin and recycling it is really painless. Ephraim thinks we need a worm bin, which would be cool but for now we are good. My favorite part is definitely the open feeling the bar lends to the whole house, I noticed I spend quite a bit of time there cutting, cooking, and looking out the front or at the kids.
I made a collection of photos for the progression of old kitchen to new kitchen, so there will be some repeats but it is kind of fun to see it all together. Well, fun for us, hopefully for you too.

Yeah, it looks so great. Briana
ooohhhh! pretty!
Seth just sent me pictures of his kitchen too. Both are looking so good!
WOW!! It is awesome. I am so impressed with your creativity in using the space the way you did. It seems like having it open will be much more fun with the kids. I love feeling somewhat connected when I'm in the kitchen and they're right there, versus in the the next room with a wall in between.
I'm sure it feels good to have it usuable and almost finished!!! Congrats!
