pumpkin farm

We went to a pumpkin farm and had a lot of fun.  Alas, I ended up with no pumpkins in the pictures, but did take some other fun ones.  Colorado Springs is not really the place to go for pumpkin patches.  A patch consists of a dirt field in which a farmer randomly lays out pumpkins which he most likely bought at a discount somewhere.  But all the down home fun that the farmers provide really do make up for it.  The hay bales, farm animals, pony rides, giant slide, tractor rides were all way better than buying one from the grocery.   Family fun makes it so worth it.
