As usual my family spoiled me all day on Sunday. They made me a special breakfast in the morning which was super yummy. Then we went to the Florissant Fossil beds for a hike and picnic lunch. It was a perfect day, weather-wise, and the kids loved learning about fossils. They each earned junior ranger badges. We then went home and Ryan grilled pizzas and blueberry pears. Delicioso! As a gift they made a really cool necklace out turquoise stone beads... which I really like.
